I chanced upon 4.3.2.1. Detox and Diet over a month ago. Personally, I shy away from diet pills because I am so afraid something might go wrong. The tea felt like a safer bet. After studying the list of ingredients in the tea, I bought 2 boxes to drink.
As a slimming aid, it is a powerhouse. It has both guarana and mate leaf, each of which is often the active ingredient in many slimming supplements. These herbs boost your metabolism, enabling you to burn more calories than you normally might. One thing to note: both guarana and mate have very high caffeine content,so it you are sensitive to caffeine, as in anything cafeinated gives you jitters or palpitations or keeps you awake all night, skip this tea.
Personally, I get insomnia when I take anything with caffeine. A glass of ice lemon tea during supper would keep me awake at night, so I take this tea first thing in the morning and right after lunch. If I have problems sleeping, I stop taking the tea for a few days before starting again.
For detox, fennel is a traditional remedy for poison. The fennel in the tea will help your body flush away the toxins. The problem with fennel is it is so effective, you should not take it while you are on antibiotics as it flushes the medicine out of your body too quickly, rendering it ineffective. I stopped drinking the tea when I developed an abscess and had to take antibiotics to get rid of it.
Detox & diet dea contains dandelion that supports your liver function and your liver is one of the major detoxification organs in your body. It breaks down substances that are otherwise toxic to your body, rendering them harmless.
It also contains dandelion which is a diuretic that works on the kidneys. Chicory root in the tea gets rid of intestinal worms. Green tea is full of antioxidants and helps reduce weight.
The flavour is not bad. Some people find it too herbal for their tastes but I like it. Meadowsweet and anise flavor the tea and I find it a pleasant wake-me-up-and-clean-up--the-gunk drink.
